Resources for Parents & Teens
Welcome! We’re glad you’re here.
For parents and teens alike, the teenage years can sometimes feel like trying to hug a cactus—loving, but a little prickly. Between growth spurts, shifting moods, and the quest for independence, these years are a wild (and wonderful) ride. The good news? You don’t have to figure it all out alone. This page brings together simple, practical tools to help you while keeping your connection strong—even on the tough days.
Mood Foods
Did you know the foods we eat can be like tiny mood boosters, helping their brain feel calmer, happier, or more energized throughout the day?
Serotonin, dopamine, and norepinephrine are brain chemicals that play a big role in how we feel day to day. Serotonin helps regulate mood, sleep, and overall sense of well-being, while dopamine is linked to motivation, pleasure, and reward—giving us that “feel good” boost when something goes well. Norepinephrine helps the body stay alert and focused, especially in response to stress. When these chemicals are balanced, they support a stable, positive mood; when they’re out of sync, it can affect emotions, energy, and concentration.
We’ve all been there, you know, those days when everything feels a little too loud, a little too much, and we’re just not at our best—and that’s okay. We’re sharing one of our homework lessons we call “Not Fit For Human Company”
An oldie, but a goodie!

Our aim is to educate and inspire the keystone habits of mental health and physical vitality. We simply know more about the brain than ever before. As advancements in neuroscience continue to evolve, the ways in which we can better our lives should too. This planner will help you leverage what we know about neuroscience as you set foundational habits of health and wire up new neural pathways to create lasting behavioural change.
Who is this for? You don't have to have any experience with Neural Network Therapy® to reap the benefits. We'll explain how it works and give you everything you need to know in the planner.
We want for this personal growth planner experience to fit into your life so you can start it at any time. You fill in the dates and choose a 3-month timeframe that works for you.
And what's the point of all this? Well, it's because your Emotional Health Matters.
